As kids growing up in North Carolina, Shawn and Sheridan Hopkins often talked about starting a business together.  A few years later, separated by a few states, these Carolina brothers finally made their dream come true, with the help of Jennifer and Elizabeth, to start Hop’s Healthy Vending.

Our company is founded with the goal to provide our customers with healthy and convenient vending choices, in the hopes of promoting positive life choices. We are a locally owned and operated business, so any service or assistance required with your machine can almost always get same day service.

Shawn Hopkins is a graduate of Clemson University with a Bachelors in Chemical Engineering.  Shawn was hired by Procter & Gamble in 1991, then spent 3 years on active duty as an officer in the United States Army.  During his 25 years with Procter & Gamble, Shawn has held manufacturing & technical engineering leadership roles, including the role of Site Engineering Leader in the Kansas City manufacturing plant.  In each of these roles, Shawn was responsible for large teams and business results, including productivity, quality and cost.  Some of Shawn’s assignments include North American Regional Health, Safety and Environmental Leader and Program Management.  Shawn is a recognized speaker on manufacturing behavior & culture within the industry.

Sheridan Hopkins attended Clemson University and has 17 years of experience in the convenience store and franchise industry.  Sheridan developed and operated 2 convenience stores in the Charleston area that included 5 franchises.  He managed the selection and purchase of goods based on the customer profile for each store, including franchise locations with Subway, TCBY and Piccadilly Circus Pizza.

Our business is operated by our families.  We take pride in meeting our customer’s needs with healthy products, great machines and customer service that is second to none.

A portion of our profit are donated to Hands Against Hunger in Cincinnati.  We also prepare and serve meals at the Hope House Mission.
